Splash

I love these Kaiser papers - thought they were too old fashioned or boyish but used them anyway. They went well with the pics. I inked the edges of the paper layers in Java ink which made them stand out a lot better. The word and splash shapes are inked in blue, and have bling added. The photo doesn't do the layout justice, but you get the idea. This is Kate in her favourite place! Several times every day she asks for a bath, and when told no says "shower?"

Face of Felt

Kate loves to use felt tips - lucky for me I buy washable ones, because she has a bad habit of drawing on anything but paper. One day I walked into the lounge to find her standing on the table having drawn all over the picture and frame that hangs above it. This day she told me "butterfly" - I think that is what she was decorating herself as! Kaiser craft papers, gold brads, buttons, gold cord, large chipboard letter.

Bathing Beauty

I'm really struggling to get motivated to scrap the girls baby photos, and until I do I can't really put albums together as I want them in sequential order. This is one of the few baby pages I have done - Daddy learning how to bath new born Lucy.

Dawson Falls

Back at the beginning of June we had some decent snow falls. This layout features some pics of our visit to the snow. Lucy had a blast - haven't seen her sooo giggly and excited in a long time. She got right in to throwing snow balls, and got me a good one! Kate wasn't so sure, and went really pale with the cold. The photo of this layout isn't great sorry. Used felt for the first time - the snow flakes.

Papers are Kaiser Craft. Wooden words which I inked, and lots of bling!

Beach Bums - Onemana

It has been a long time since I posted on my blog, so I have a few to share today. This first layout has photos from our holiday in Whangamata. We went to a cute wee bay (Onemana) fishing one day. The wind was bitterly cold, no sun to speak off, the waves rough, but Kate was into being nude, and so decided to once again strip off. The papers are "My minds eye" - flowers, and rub-ons also.
